In einem Interview mit dem Observer erzählte Dan Radcliffe von einem Treffen mit J.K.Rowling am Set:

Übersetzt:
Jo kam einmal zum Set und ich sagte: 'Oh, hallo, warum bist du heute hier?' Und sie sagt: 'Oh, ich brauche nur eine kleine Pause vom Buch - Dumbledore bereitet mir große Sorgen.' Und ich sagte: Aber ist er nicht tot?' Und sie meinte: 'Nun, ja, aber es ist komplizierter ...'
Diese Aussage lässt ja nun wieder jede Menge Möglichkeiten und Spekulationen zu.
